We had a really good night here, checked in then time for food and drink. Tapas were on the menu (delicious). Excellent beer from Hobsons brewery. The room was big with a large comfy bed and in the bathroom a good strong shower.
Friendly pub hotel, on the high street in Cleobury Mortimer. I had a large room and a comfortable bed. The shower room is quite tired, but plenty of hot water. Talking from downstairs or next door was loud during the evening, but that was the only minor issue. I could not stay for the 9am breakfast time, so they made me a little (vegan) breakfast, which was lovely (just give them a few days' notice). I think I could have also had a vegan dinner, had I wanted it. Kettle and tea/coffee (including decaf) in the room. Would definitely recommend!

We have been here twice in the last 2 days and it is one of the most warm, friendliest and welcoming places we have been to. All of the staff are so helpful and friendly and our dog was made really welcome too. The food is freshly cooked and absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back. Well done
Such a friendly welcome here that we ate the two evenings we were walking in Shropshire. The 2 steak mea for £25 with glass of wine Tuesday deal were cooked perfectly and great value. Give it a go a little gem.
Just had a family meal (9 of us) and I have to say the food was second to none, with exceptional service. The beer is pretty damn good too. Well done to Dean, Jo, Charlotte and Ollie and thank you.
They put a roof over my head when I was homeless back in oct 2020, Thank you for your help making sure I was okay bringing me breakfast and letting me stay, was a scary situation for me, but you gave me a warm meal and dried my eyes for a little your small gesture has put a massive imprint of my heart your pub is now a story in my life, that I keep coming back to Thanks for being so good to me:)!!! Great room, lovely food, friendly staff. Lovely old pub with lots of character. Had our evening meal in front of the real log fire. So cosy. Trudy the landlady was very nice and cooked us an excellent breakfast. The two lads On the bar were great as well s on the bar were great and very efficient
